Denver steaks are one of the increasingly popular cuts that come from the beef chuck, behind the shoulder. Most chuck cuts are from well-used muscles which give them great flavour but are tough unless cooked slowly. The Denver is an exception as it is located directly under the shoulder and so doesn't get used as much making it one of the more tender muscles in the beef chuck.
This steak will be relatively tender with a good beefy flavour, which will be great for the grill.
