These totally pasture-raised chickens really are chicken like never before.. or like how chicken 'used' to taste as we get told regualry by some of our more seniour customers. 

 

The whole bird is the best way to eat chicken, it offers the best value and eating experience with its golden, crispy skin and juicy meats, no other way compares.

 

Meat cooked on the bone delivers the richest flavours and retains the most juices, too many people these days want a small chicken to be consumed in one meal, that sounds like a lot of work! Why not have a bigger chicken and make it last 2/3 meals, you can add the leftovers to curries, pies, salads, sandwiches the list is endless all saving time and money.

 

Don't forget to remove the giblets from inside the cavity of the bird, these are the perfect stock for some amazing gravy, bursting with nutrition!

 

We like the 'beer belly' method of cooking chicken, as you can see from the pictures, we'll provide a little cooking guide with your bird, taking the stress out of whole bird cooking.
