One of the most rewarding slow-cook cuts on the animal.
Our grass-fed ox cheeks come from cattle raised slowly on pasture on our Somerset farm. Hard-working muscles with deep natural flavour, ox cheeks are rich in connective tissue which, given time, breaks down into beautifully soft, succulent meat.
Cooked low and slow, they become meltingly tender with a depth of flavour that’s hard to beat. This is the cut chefs quietly love — perfect for braises, stews and long, gentle cooking where patience is rewarded.
Ox cheek produces rich, glossy sauces without the need for added thickeners, making it a standout for comforting, flavour-led dishes.
